He is an Associate Professor in the English Language/Linguistics MA Program in the Department of English in the College of Humanities, and also a faculty member of the Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT) Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program at the University of Arizona. He is the President of TESOL (Teachers of English to the Speakers of Other Languages, Inc.) for 2006-2007. Concurrently, he is directing the English Language Center at Shantou University in Guangdong, China.

She is a Professor and Distinguished University Scholar of the Department of Language and Literacy Education of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education/University of Toronto. The author of several scholarly documents and international presentations concerning language and literacy education and language planning and policy, she has received such prestigious awards as the National Academy of Education Spencer Postdoctoral
Fellowship and the Killam Teaching Award.
 Malachi Edwin Vethamani

He is currently the President of the Malaysian English Language Teaching Association. He holds a doctorate in Literature in English from the University of Nottingham. He is a recipient of the Chevening Award (1993-1996) and the Fulbright Scholarship (2000). A prolific researcher in the area of teaching literature in English and Malaysian literature in English, he has written many articles and essays for both local and international publications. He has been recently elected as Vice President of AsiaTEFL.d.

She is a Filipina who graduated at 16 years old as a summa cum laude with a general weighted average of 1.099 from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She was only 11 when she entered college, under an experimental program that would test if the possibility of gifted children entering a university will not compromise their emotional and social development. Her innate giftedness continues to inspire scholarly circles and communities of learners.
